The M05 module is relevant to anyone working for an insurance company, broker or reinsurer and wishes to achieve a professional qualification and designation. The qualifications can be undertaken by apprentices, new or experienced employees.
Learning Outcomes
These include understanding the nature and sources of English law and the concept of legal persons, the principles and characteristics of the main torts and the formation classification and interpretation of insurance contracts.
Successful candidates will also learn about the law of contracts and of agency, the main legal principles relating to making an insurance claim and the principles of indemnity, subrogation and contribution.
Course Overview
The M05 module is mandatory for the CII level 4 Diploma in Insurance. It is a qualification which is often regarded as a benchmark of professionalism. Therefore, this course is widely sought by employees and employers alike.
The course will work through the CII syllabus, ensuring that the learners are both able to understand the knowledge and be able to apply this to their job role and be prepared to take the CII exam.
