"I’m really excited about my future with DSW and the impact I can have on our clients and Associates alike."
- Jonny Dyson
Tell us a little about yourself and the experience you bring to clients of DSW?
My previous experience was in recruitment and I describe myself as a real ‘people-person.’ I’ve always been passionate about helping people and ensuring they’re at the centre of everything that I do! This invariably involves listening carefully to the needs of my clients and then matching candidates with the ideal experience, capabilities and behaviours to the roles required. I’m motivated by helping clients through providing talent that makes a strong, positive impact upon their business and finding dream opportunities for the candidates that I’m privileged to represent.
When and why did you join DSW?
I joined in September, because DSW is a growing, innovative Company with an exceptional reputation in the L&D space. I could instantly tell that I wanted to be part of the Company, due to the professional but family-like culture, and the values that DSW stand for.
What can Approved Training Providers (ATP’s) expect from you in your role?
My key focus is to listen and understand what ad-hoc support ATP’s require to help them achieve their apprenticeships business strategy. We already provide resourcing support to several ATP partners and our aim is to grow further relationships and become the chosen partner across the sector when quality assured, interim support is needed. ATP’s can expect me to be courteous, consultative and motivated purely by delivering a service that meets their highest expectations and ensures them of the talent when and where it is needed.
I believe our hand-picked talent pool of Designers, Tutors, Skills Coaches, Project Managers and IQAs offer great immediate benefit and value to ATP’s and love the work involved in the match making process which brings mutual benefits to all involved!
How have you settled in at DSW?
Everyone within the business, at all levels, have been so supportive and made me feel instantly welcome. The culture here is great and DSW has a ‘family feel’ where everyone is valued and listened to, which is extremely refreshing.
I am encouraged to express myself and have the freedom to make my own mark within the Company. I’ve been recruited to take responsibility for my role, but it’s great knowing there’s always a super experienced team to turn to for support.
I think the personal, “human” approach that we take with our clients and Associates is second to none and the lengths that everyone goes to in ensuring we deliver a great service, reaffirms the first-class reputation we enjoy.
I’m really excited about my future with DSW and the impact I can have on our clients and Associates alike.
