The Doran Scott Williams (DSW) team initially spoke to Fitch Learning, based in London in July 2018; after the Training Provider required an independent, reliable and quality assured End Point Assessment Organisation (EPAO) to help them navigate the assessment of new Financial Services standards.
DSW has a 20 year heritage in learning, training and assessment in the financial services sector and is an Education and Skills Funding Agency (ESFA) approved EPAO for a range of financial services, compliance and investment apprenticeships.
Fitch Learning began delivering financial services Apprenticeships to high-profile employer clients in 2018 with the introduction of the levy and Apprenticeship standards. After meeting with the DSW team, Fitch Learning appointed DSW as their chosen EPAO in October 2018.
Fitch Learning was supplied with a dedicated DSW account management team consisting of Jake Tween, Head of Apprenticeships and Chelsey Cottrill, Business Development Executive; who have now forged a powerful partnership with the senior management team at Fitch.
The duo (and assisting operations personnel) ensured that Fitch Learning was fully aware of the support and materials available to them, and that DSW was on hand to help their client’s Apprentices towards positive experiences and successful outcomes.
Fast forward to today, and the DSW team is in regular contact with the Fitch Learning team and engages with Skills Coaches regularly; to ensure a mutual understanding of the EPA requirements early on into each Apprenticeship programme.
The DSW and Fitch Learning partnership has ensured successful outcomes, with the first cohorts of Apprentices consistently demonstrating application of the Knowledge, Skills and Behaviours of the Apprenticeships across the following standards:

· Investment Operations Specialist L4
· Investment Operations Technician L3
· Compliance and Risk Officer L3
· Senior Compliance and Risk L6
